GREETINGS BULLDOGS

Hello E.A. Gibson Bulldogs.  My name is Coach Parsons and this is my first year at EA.  I am originally from West Virginia but have been teaching in Durham NC since 1995.  Along with teaching high school students at Northern Durham HS, I was an assistant football coach, head track and field coach and also taught drivers education until I retired in July of 2024.  I have been married for 28 years and have 3 sons that attend college at UNCG and Greensboro College.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach, fishing, mowing grass and watching sports.  I look forward to teaching you all this year and remember "A healthy body = a healthy mind."
