About Me

Hello and welcome! My name is Jade Chance, and I’m so excited to be teaching 5th grade English Language Arts this year. I’m a proud graduate of Virginia State University and originally from Norfolk, Virginia. This is a continuation of my first year in education, and I previously taught first grade.

As your child’s ELA teacher, their growth and success are my top priorities. I’m committed to creating a supportive and engaging classroom where students feel confident, capable, and inspired to develop as readers, writers, and critical thinkers. I truly look forward to getting to know each of my students and working alongside you to make this a meaningful and successful year.
